Attendance
Every minute of learning time at Willow Brook Primary School and Nursery is precious for pupils and staff. At all times, pupils should be "ready to learn" and enthusiastic about attending school every day.
At Willow Brook, we believe that every school day matters. Regular attendance helps children build strong foundations in learning, develop friendships, and feel part of our vibrant school community. When children attend every day, they benefit from consistent teaching, routines, and opportunities to grow socially and academically. Currently, our attendance is below the national average, and we are working hard to improve this. Our target is for every child to achieve at least 96% attendance across the year. You can help by making attendance a priority and working with us to reduce avoidable absences.
