PSHE at Willow Brook

At Willow Brook, we use Jigsaw – a mindful and holistic approach to PSHE – to help our children grow into confident, caring and reflective individuals. Our PSHE curriculum follows a progressive, spiral structure, ensuring that key themes are revisited and built upon each year. This approach allows pupils to deepen their understanding as new concepts, knowledge and skills are introduced at an age-appropriate level. Each of the six Jigsaw Puzzles (units of work) carefully weaves together personal, social, health and emotional learning, with clear links to the DfE statutory guidance for Relationships and Health Education. Across the school, pupils encounter consistent language, values and vocabulary, creating a cohesive journey of personal development throughout their time at Willow Brook.
